RAW is WAR--5/10/99
� Backstage, The Corporate Ministry arrived. Meanwhile, Vince McMahon,
along with The Union, arrived with 2x4's and
security.
� Kane and Billy Gunn went to a No-Contest.
- Before the match, a fan (Sexy Savannah) from the crowd came in and
hugged Billy Gunn, as he made his way down to the
ring. The fan was escorted out of the area by security official, Jim
Dotson. Kane took advantage of the opportunity to beat on
Gunn. Gunn came back on top of the match by focusing on Kane's left
leg. At one point, Gunn knocked Kane down to the
mat, with Kane falling backward, and getting his feet tied to the ropes.
Gunn capitalized on the opportunity to take down Kane.
Road Dogg and X-Pac then made their ways down. X-Pac tended to Kane,
while RD, in his socks, brawled with Gunn to the
backstage area. X-Pac had trouble freeing Kane, which let Mark Henry
and D-Lo Brown, along with Ivory, enter and attack
the Tag Team Champions. The crowd chanted "D-Lo Sucks." D-Lo and Henry
ran back after Kane was freed.
� Backstage, on separate shots, The Union and Corporate Ministry were
shown walking down the hallways of the Orlando
Arena.
� Tennis player, Monica Seles, was shown sitting in a front row sheet.
� Union Interview.
- The Union made their ways down to the ring with 2x4's, with masked
and nightstick equipped riot officers. Vince McMahon
said Shane would no longer be able to turn to his family for support,
since he had turned on all of them. McMahon said Shane
could possibly, and if he had the guts, join The Union. The Corporate
Ministry made their ways to the rampway. Shane said he
didn't need Vince's family since he had The Corporate Ministry. The
crowd chanted, "Asshole." Shane said after he destroyed
The Union, it would all be his. WWF Commissioner, Shawn Michaels appeared
on the Titan Tron, apparently in San Antonio,
Texas. Michaels announced he would add Vince as another Guest Referee
(with Shane being the other) for the Stone Cold
Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker Heavyweight Title match at Over The
Edge. Michaels announced some matches for the Raw
is War show: Bradshaw vs. Faarooq in a Lumberjack Match with The Union
as the Lumberjacks, Test vs. The Big Bossman in
a Nightstick-on-a-Pole match, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson vs. The
Mean Street Posse in a rematch with the loser leaving
the WWF, Ken Shamrock vs. Chyna, The Big Show vs. Paul Bearer (Bearer
fainted), Viscera and Midian vs. Cactus Jack in a
Hardcore Handicap Match, Sable vs. Debra in an Evening Gown Match for
the Women's Title (if Sable failed to show, she
would be stripped of the title), and The Undertaker, Triple H, and
Shane vs. The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Vince.
Michaels said he needed a Guest Referee, at which point Shane interrupted.
Michaels called Shane a nimrod and loser.
Michaels then told the riot officers to take their helmets off, revealing
themselves as Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, and none
other than Michaels himself. Michaels then announced he would be the
Guest Referee for the main event later in the show. The
Union seemed very happy, while The Corporate Ministry had angry looks
on their faces.
� The Big Show and Paul Bearer went to a No-Contest.
- The Big Show wore regular blue jeans to the ring. Jim Ross pointed
out that Paul Bearer had never wrestled an actual match
in his WWF career. Big Show did jumpingjacks as he waited for Bearer.
Bearer entered and said he wasn't going to wrestle,
until Shawn Michaels popped up from behind and shoved Bearer into the
ring. Michaels did color commentary. Bearer yelled
out, "I'm not a wrestler." Big Show took down Bearer with a boot to
the face and a huge elbow drop. Big Show got on the
microphone and asked Michael f he could add a stipulation to the match,
which was to have The Undertaker fight him.
Michaels said it was okay with him if it was what Big Show wanted.
The Undertaker then made his way out and stared at Big
Show from the outside. Big Show gave Bearer another elbow drop. The
Corporate Ministry then ran in and attacked Big
Show. The Union made their ways down to the ring and scared off The
Corporate Ministry.
� Backstage, Debra made he way to the ring in her red evening gown.
Sable had her make-up finished up, and made her way
to the ring with Nicole Bass in her black evening gown.
� Debra defeated Sable (w/Nicole Bass) via Reversed Decision, to capture
the Women's Title.
- Shawn Michaels continued to do color commentary. Sable did her grind
dance. An unexpected Val Venis made his way
down to the ring to check out Debra. As Debra was distracted by Venis,
Sable ripped off her dress for the win. Nicole Bass
then went after Venis. Venis was clocked from behind by Jeff Jarrett
and his guitar. Michael Cole was about to interview
Sable, but Michaels did the job instead. Michaels told Bass, "Step
off, Mr." Michaels told Sabe he saw Evening Gown
Matches differently. he awarded Debra as the new Women's Champion,
since she was the one who lost the gown first.
� Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and Vince McMahon were all shown on split screens.
� Nightstick-on-a-Pole: The Big Bossman defeated Test via Pinfall.
- The nigtstick was hooked on a pole in the corner of the ring. At
one point, Test went for the nightstick, and The Big Bossman
pulled Test's tights a little too far down. Bossman and Test continued
to fight each other and stop one another from reaching the
nightstick. Test finally reached the nightstick, but Bossman pulled
out a piece of metal and clocked Test with it. Test went for a
sunset flip to make a pin, but Bossman nailed him with the nightstick
to make the win.
� Backstage, Cactus Jack made his way down to the ring, dribbling basketballs.
� Backstage, Michael Cole interviewed Val Venis. Venis, angry, challenged
Jeff Jarrett to a match later in the show as a result
of the guitar shot Jarrett gave Venis earlier in the show.
� Handicap-Hardcore Match: Cactus Jack defeated Midian and Viscera.
- Cactus Jack came out to his original entrance music and video. Midian
immediately came at Cactus, but Cactus took him out
with basketballs. Cactus had the advantage on the outside, but Viscera
took him down with a huge belly-to-belly suplex.
Midian and Viscera then took down Cactus with a chair. Cactus came
back for a few minutes with double DDTs and chair
garbages can shots on the two Corporate Ministry members. Cactus pinned
Viscera on the outside of the irng after landing on
Viscera with a chair. The crowd chanted, Midian throughout the match.
� Backstage, Michael Cole asked Chyna about her upcoming match with
Ken Shamrock. Chyna said every 28 days, she gets
moody, and the previous day, was day 27. Chyna said she would take
Shamrock's balls and step on them.
� A vignette was shown of Steve Blackman training.
� Lumberjack Match: Faarooq and Bradshaw went to a No-Contest.
- The Big Show, Ken Shamrock, and Test were the lumberjacks. Faarooq
got in the microphone and said he would not
wrestle ihs own partner. Faarooq said The Acolytes said they didn't
need to prove he was a better wrestler. Bradhsaw said he
out-drank Faarooq for the past six months, and didn't want Faarooq
to make him out-fight him. Faarooq said, "Well, I'll be
damned." The match was then underway between The Acolytes on good terms.
Mankind then made his way down to the ring
for his lumberjack position. The Union worked on The Acolytes the moment
either of them was on the outside of the ring. The
Big Bossman, Viscera, and Midian made their ways down to stop the match.
Their was some arguments between The
Corporate Ministry. The Corporate Ministry fled the ring, and only
left Viscera, who was pumpled with 2x4's.
� Backstage, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco made their ways down to
the ring, saying what wrestlers they had beated in the
pat. Brisco mentioned that he had beaten Ric Flair in the past and
went, "Whooo!"
� Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson defeated The Mean Street Posse by
making them submit to a Figure-Four Leglock and
Boston Crab.
- Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco came out to Hulk Hogan's Hulkmania
music. They tore off their T-shirts and put their hands
near to their ears to call out to the crowd (ala Hogan). Patterson
was knocked on the outsode of the ring, as Rodney and Pete
Gas worked on Brisco. Patterson later came back in the ring, and nailed
The Mean Street Posse with a riot helmet for he and
Brisco to gain the advantage. Brisco put Pete Gas in the Figure-Four
Leglock, while Patterson put Rodney in a Boston Crab
for the win. The Mean Street Posse would was officially out of the
WWF. Patterson took off his T-shirt and posed like Hogan.
� Backstage, Michael Cole interviewed Ken Shamrock about his upcoming
match with Chyna. Shamrock said he appreciated
what Shawn Michaels was doing. He said came from a town where he didn't
hit women, but would have to make an exception.
� Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) defeated Val Venis via Pinfall.
- Val Venis' music played, but Jeff Jarrett ended up coming out of
instead. Jarrett got on the microphone and said he heard
Venis was pissed off, but he (Jarrett) was always pissed off, so Jarrett
told Venis to bring it on. Venis ran to the ring and
manhandled Jarrett on the outside. Venis and Jarrett then wrestled
a back and forth match. Debra got on top of the apron and
opened her jacket. Venis got on the top turnbuckle for the Money Shot,
but decided to go after Debra instead. As Venis
made-out with Debra, Debra slapped him out of no where, and Jarrett
nailed Venis behind with the Women's Title belt to let
him make the pinfall.
� The next Cleavage Family vignette was shown. Harry Beaver Cleavage
had a scrape on his knee, and June Cleavage, his
mom, cleaned it up. Beaver Cleavage raised his eyebrows up and down
and smiled.
� Ken Shamrock and Chyna (w/Triple H) went to a No-Contest.
- Ken Shamrock explained he couldn't fight Chyna. Chyna shoved and
slapped Shamrock. Shamrock told Triple H to control
Chyna. Shamrock grabbed Chyna from behind, only to be attacked by Triple
H. Shamrock snapped and gave Chyna a
belly-to-belly suplex. Shamrock then left.
� Backstage, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and Vince McMahon were
shown making their ways toward the ring.
Shawn Michaels, in his own Wrestling Academy T-shirt, was also shown
making his was down.
� Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and Vince McMahon defeated Shane
McMahon, The Undertaker, and Triple H
(w/Chyna) with Austin's Stunner.
- The Guest Referee, Shawn Michaels, made his way to a huge pop. Vince
McMahon called down The Rock after his
entrance, only to be attacked behind by Shane McMahon. The Rock battled
with Triple H, as The Undertaker Tombstoned
McMahon. Shane and The Undertaker continued to the attack on McMahon,
choking him with cables. Stone Cold Steve
Austin then made his way out to a huge pop and went straight after
The Undertaker. The Undertaker and Austin took it to the
crowd, as did The Rock and Triple H for a few seconds. McMahon and
Shane were still knocked out cold near the
announcer's table. The Rock nailed Triple H with the Rock Bottom, but
The Undertaker made the save. Both McMahon's
were back in the ring, as the rest battled on the outside. Austin entered
and nailed Shane with the Stunner. McMahon had the
cover, but Austin pulled him off because he wanted to do it himself.
Austin then nailed Shane with another Stunner, and made
the pin himself. Michaels and Austin drunk beers as the show went off
the air.
